Juliet McGear

Juliet joined the Sustainability Institute in 2016 as the Learning for Sustainability’s Program Manager.

Juliet is exceptional at multi-tasking and is currently also working as a Facilitator for LFS in the Early Childhood Development space whilst teaching  English, Afrikaans and Life Orientation  to Grade 5 and Grade 6 at  the Lynedoch School. She has a Human Resources Management Degree from the Cape Peninsula University of Technology, a Certificate in Practical Labour Law from the University of Cape Town and is a Registered Assessor with ETDP Seta.  Prior to coming to the SI, Juliet worked in the Publishing and Education field for 17 years. She also worked as a Human Resources Manager at a Travel and Tourism organisation and at an NGO called Hope Again Recovery Home on a voluntary basis. Juliet also did online facilitation as part of blended learning area and tutored at an NPO called Tertiary School in Business Administration(Tsiba).  She enjoys cooking but more than anything else enjoys mountain hiking with her family.
